Professor Peled is an expert in internal medicine, pulmonology and oncology and widely recognized as one of the leading oncologists in Israel today. He previously established the Lung Cancer Unit at Beilinson Medical Center and was the Director of Oncology at Soroka Medical Center. Prof. Peled is the Chair for the Prevention, Screening and Early Detection Committee of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) as well as Head of the Cancer Department at Shaarey Zedek Hospital, Jerusalem.
